Lucas F. Zelasko is an associate attorney with Gross Shuman P.C. Mr. Zelasko joined the firm in 2026 after a successful tenure serving as an Assistant District Attorney with the Rockland County District Attorney's Office. While there, Mr. Zelasko gained valuable experience prosecuting cases at all levels from town and village courts, to presenting before Grand Juries, to prosecuting felony matters in state court.
Mr. Zelasko focuses his practice in the areas of municipal defense and law enforcement liability defense, both areas where his extensive experience as a prosecutor is invaluable. He works closely with the leaders of our municipal defense practices, Michael McClaren, Keifer Tehan, and Tabita Saraj on all aspects of defending our municipal clients against liability charges in various types of civil matters including representing towns, villiages and cities against employment law claims, injuries on property, charges of excessive force or false arrest by police departments and more.
When he is not working tirelessly on behalf of our clients, Mr. Zelasko, a native of Williamsville, can be found most Sundays in the fall at Highmark Stadium cheering on our Buffalo Bills. He is also an avid skiier and counts Holiday Valley among his favorite places to hit the slopes.
