Attorney Nick Pusateri joined Gross Shuman in 2020 and brought a strong background in  business and corporate law matters, including business succession planning, various business transactions, regulatory compliance, and economic development to the firm.

He works closely with private and not-for-profit clients on all types of business matters. From business formation, restructuring and dissolution to drafting and negotiating various agreements and assisting with complex mergers and acquisitions, Mr. Pusateri’s practice touches each phase of his clients’ business operations.

Mr. Pusateri has already earned multiple professional recognitions in his legal career, including being twice named to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list. He was also named by Best Lawyers to its 2020 list of “Ones to Watch.”

Prior to joining Gross Shuman, Mr. Pusateri was an associate at a Buffalo-based law firm. He also served as a law clerk to Hon. Eugene M. Fahey at the Appellate Division, Fourth Department, and as a law clerk with the Erie County Attorney’s Office.

He is a graduate of Niagara University where he earned his B.A. in Political Science. Mr. Pusateri earned his J.D. from the University at Buffalo School of Law, where he served as a publications editor of the Buffalo Law Review and an associate of the Buffalo Public Interest Law Journal.

He is admitted to practice in both New York and Florida.
