Nyles Panus is an associate attorney who focuses his practice in the areas of estate planning and corporate law.

He began his career at Gross Shuman as a summer law clerk and joined the firm as an associate attorney upon his admittance to the New York State Bar.

Estate Planning

Mr. Panus works closely with attorneys John Leone and Katherine Liebner on long-term estate matters. He works with clients seeking to put together an estate plan for the first time including drafting wills, power of attorney and health care proxies designed to meet the individual needs of each client. He also assists with clients who are looking to update an existing state plan or make adjustments as they reach retirement age to help protect their assets.

Corporate Law

Mr. Panus works closely with attorney Nicholas Pusateri as a member of our corporate law practice. His experience includes working with clients seeking to form a business. Our team helps clients understand which type of business best meets their needs, whether it is an LLC, PLLC, corporation, or some other alternative. He assists in the drafting of all documents, and works to ensure the process is seamless, efficient, and affordable for our clients.

Prior to joining Gross Shuman, Mr. Panus gained valuable experience working at the ECBA Volunteer Lawyers Project, where he assisted clients who were facing eviction, advocating for them in court. He also worked as a law clerk for the Legal Aid Bureau of Buffalo, as a member of the Appeals and Post-Conviction Unit, where he assisted in the drafting of appellate briefs to the Fourth Department.
