Anna E. Donnelly is an associate attorney with Gross Shuman P.C. Ms. Donnelly is a member of the firm’s litigation practice group where she handles matters ranging from municipal liability cases to labor and employment litigation, business and commercial litigation and personal injury matters.
Prior to joining Gross Shuman, Ms. Donnelly worked as a personal injury attorney, a role where she developed a deep compassion and understanding of the challenges her clients faced, and a passion for helping them achieve the best possible outcome in their legal matter. Those traits continue to serve her well as she advocates on behalf of Gross Shuman’s clients.
She earned her undergraduate degrees from Niagara University receiving a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and a Bachelor of Science in Criminology and Criminal Justice with a concentration in Women’s Studies. She also completed a Master of Science in Criminal Justice Administration at Niagara University.
While in college, Ms. Donnelly was a student-athlete, playing NCAA Division I lacrosse, where she was recognized as an All-American Scholar Athlete.
She balanced her studies and her athletic career with time spent serving the community. That included working as the student coordinator for Take Back the Night, an annual event aimed at raising awareness of domestic and sexual violence. She also gained valuable experience as an intern with the Niagara County District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Donnelly also earned certification in Victim Advocacy through the Office for Victims of Crime.
Ms. Donnelly earned her Juris Doctor from the Thomas R. Kline School of Law at Duquesne University where she was a member of the First-Generation Law Society, National Plaintiffs Law Association, and Women’s Law Association.
Ms. Donnelly is a native of Lancaster, New York. When she is not zealously advocating for her clients, Anna enjoys spending time with her dog Presley and her loved ones. She also enjoys running, weightlifting and reading.
