Teia Marie Bui concentrates her practice in the areas of tax litigation and controversy, business and commercial litigation, and personal injury matters. She has counseled corporate and individual clients at trial, appellate and audit levels before the Internal Revenue Service (IRS), U.S. Tax Court and U.S. District Court on tax related matters, including Foreign Bank Account Reporting (FBAR) issues.
Ms. Bui earned her J.D. from the State University of New York at Buffalo Law School and served as Business Editor of the Buffalo Law Review. She clerked for over 5 years at the IRS Office of Chief Counsel and earned a B.S. in Accounting from Hilbert College. Ms. Bui’s experience also includes work in the insurance defense area, and criminal work as a clerk for the US Department of Justice at the U.S. Attorney’s Office, W.D.N.Y. |
