Dr. Joel H. Paull has been of counsel to the firm for over ten years. Following a B.A. from SUNY at Buffalo, he obtained his DDS degree from that institution's dental school in 1968 and practiced general dentistry in Buffalo, New York. He earned an M.D. in 1971 from the School of Medicine at SUNYAB and trained in general surgery and then plastic and reconstructive surgery before entering private practice with offices in Buffalo and Niagara Falls. After a career-ending injury, Dr. Paull continued to consult but was unable to perform surgery. He then attended the law school at SUNYAB to receive his J.D. An L.L.M. in health law from Loyola University in Chicago was followed by an MBA from SUNYAB. He was admitted to the New York Bar in 1997 and the District Court of the Western District of New York in 2001, as well as the Supreme Court of the United States the same year. From his unique perspective of private practice in both dentistry and medicine, Dr. Paull brings special understanding to issues of professional clients. He has also been a member of the New York State Board for Professional Medical Conduct and is an inspector for AAAASF.
